User Guide¶
The Digilan Edge Portal is where you configure and watch your edge gateways. This guide follows the portal's own menus, so each section here matches an entry you can click.
How a change reaches a device¶
Edits on a device page are collected until you click Apply Changes. The portal then saves them as a new configuration version and sends it to the device.
- The device applies the configuration and starts a 60-second countdown: Config applied — {seconds}s to confirm or rollback.
- Click Confirm to keep it, or Rollback to go back.
- If nobody confirms, the device restores the previous configuration on its own. The countdown runs on the device, so this still works when the change is what cut the device off.
If the device is offline, the version is queued and applied when it reconnects. See History for versions, diffs and rollback.
